Save money by having TIMcalc, a featured packed mobile Personal Financial Calculator on your Palm OS® powered handheld computer. TIMcalc has specialized calculation screens that can solve mortgages, loans, single and periodic deposit investments, and future and present value annuities. While powerful, TIMcalc is still easy to use. You don't need to know how to figure out special values like ?n?, worry about the sign of values for cash flow conventions, or complicated rules about data entry order. TIMcalc has a questionnaire style, fill in the form design, which prompts the user for the information required and if still unsure about a calculation procedure just tap screen labels to get immediate popup help dialogs. TIMcalc is also a great analytical tool because completed calculations display additional information such as total accrued interest and total payments or deposits. To compare interest rates with different compounding periods, use the AER (Annual Equivalent Rate) button. In the Ledger screen you can zero into any time period of the calculation to see specific values for period payment/deposit/interest or the running totals of these values. Tap Ledger columns to see additional summary information. Various sequences of additional extra payments/deposits can also be added into the Ledger, where their effects can be examined and compared to the initial calculation. Completed calculations can be saved in a summary format, stored in user defined categories, and then later reopened and loaded into a calculation screen for modification or review in the Ledger.
